Even Naidu can't solve party's problems: TDP MLA - Sakshi Post

TDP MLA Sairaj met YSR Congress Party chief, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Chanchalaguda prison on Friday.

Talking to reporters after the meeting, he said: "Today, I have come to meet YS Jagan. I had to face a lot of problems for the last four years, since I got elected as an MLA. The sudden demise of my mentor Yerran Naidu has made the struggle even difficult. I was obligated to  stick with the TDP out of respect on Yerran Naidu and his family. The problems in TDP have got so worse that even the party chief cannot solve them."

Sairaj also went on to say that it was late YS Rajasekhara Reddy's people-friendly welfare schemes that inspired him to remain in politics although he had decided to retire. "I entered politics to serve the people. However, I was told only to do politics.Youth like us are never encouraged. But I have found that YSR and Jagan support the youth. They have identified the problems of the needy and come forward to help them," he said.

The TDP MLA also admitted to being a critic of the YSRCP leaders before he realized the truth and saw the social work they were doing to the benefit of the poor. "After meeting some satisfied people who were benefited from YSR's schemes, I have decided not to retire from politics, but instead be a support to such great leaders (Jagan)."

Sairaj said that he was confident that he could give a better life to the poor. "I met Jagan today. Irrespective of whether they give me a post in the party or not, I have decided to dedicate my life to the society and walk along with Jagan."
