Erstwhile PRP activist embarrasses Chiranjeeevi

Union Minister and Congress leader Chiranjeevi had to face some embarrassing moments during his ‘Bus Tour’ at Pithapuram in East Godavari district on Saturday.

One activist of erstwhile Praja Rajyam Party Babji asked Chiranjeevi, “You started Praja Rajyam Party and later merged it in Congress party. How can you come to the people after playing with the sentiments of the people in the way?”

He tore off the identity card of the PRP in the presence of Chiranjeevi itself.

“I am still continuing with the identity card of PRP. But, you sold the party as the president of PRP,” said the activist.

He said that he tore off the card to realize the leader. Immediately after that, he raised the slogan ‘Pawan Kalyan Zindabad, All the best Janasena’.

Shocked Chiranjeevi immediately stopped the yatra and boarded the bus.

Union ministers Pallam Raju, Panabaka Lakshmi, J.D.Seelam, APCC chief Raghuveera Reddy and other leaders were the witnesses to the incident.

On the other hand, the response of the people was so poor in the area for ‘Bus Yatra’ taken up by the Congress leaders. At some places, the attendance of the people could not reach even one hundred.
