'Entire 'T' credit should not go to KCR'
BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Friday criticized TRS President K.Chandrasekhar Rao for taking all the credit for the formation of Telangana.
Speaking to reporters in Hyderabad, Nagam said, “It is not proper for the TRS chief to say that the state of Telangana was formed only with the efforts of TRS.”
He added, “How can he say that the state was bifurcated only with his efforts when some hundreds of students laid down their lives for the same cause?”
“What is your role in the entire political process of formation of Telangana?” asked Nagam.
Nagam said that the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh would not have happened if the support of BJP was not there.
He clarified that only BJP had the basic right of asking the votes of the people in Telangana region.
“What did you do to the people of Mahbubnagar as its MP?” asked Nagam.
