Jagapathi’s choice of characters is definitely worth applauding as he steals the show in every movie he works in.

Be it Nannaku Prematho, Legend, Srimanthudu or the recent Maharshi, Jagapathi stands out in all his movies.

Jagapathi Babu and Mahesh Babu have worked together in 'Srimanthudu' and 'Maharshi'. Sadly, Jagapathi Babu’s character in 'Maharshi' was sidelined for many reasons. It is being said that Jagapathi Babu had regretted working in 'Maharshi' because his character did not bring him much recognition the way Allari Naresh’s character received in the movie. Later, Jagapathi Babu was offered an important role in Mahesh Babu's upcoming flick 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'.

Earlier, Jagapathi Babu agreed to be part of the project. However, we hear reports that he has opted out of the movie. We don't know what exactly made Jagapathi Babu change his decision. But the buzz in social media is that he walked out of the project as he was not satisfied with the portrayal of his character in Sarileru Neekevvaru. Apparently, he was presented with a different script when he was approached by the makers but on reaching the sets in Kashmir, he found that the script had been changed.

We already told you that veteran actress Vijaya Shanthi is making a comeback with Sarileru Neevkevvaru. The buzz is that her role overshadows that of Jagapathi, a reason why he walked out of 'Sarileru Neekevvaru’. However, an official confirmation about Jagapathi Babu sudden exit is awaited.

The film is being directed by Anul Ravipudi of F2 fame and produced by Dil Raju and Ramabrahmam Sunkara. It is learned that Jaggu Bhai had even let go off a few plum Kollywood and Sandalwood projects as his dates were clashing with Sarileru Neekevvaru. It is unfortunate that the actor had a fallout with the director over creative differences. As a quick replacement, the makers approached Prakash Raj who was more than willing to oblige as it's been a while the actor-turned-politician was seen in a movie. Prakash Raj had earlier worked with Mahesh in Dookudu.
