Saaho, Baahubali - Sakshi Post

Prabhas and Rajamouli's Baahubali series is still etched in the audience's minds. The career-defining role in Baahubali gave Prabhas immense appreciation for his performance. Thanks to the Baahubali franchise, Prabhas has garnered a pan India appeal.

Following the movie's success, everyone's focus was on Prabhas' next choice for the movie. The actor signed on to Sujeeth directorial Saaho, which was supposed to release earlier this year. However, due to a large number of action sequences in the movie, the release is getting delayed, much to the disappointment of the fans. Since Prabhas did not have any release in 2018, the anticipation surrounding Saaho is relatively high.
As per the latest reports doing the rounds on social media, the trailer of Saaho is set to release in June.

Interestingly, the trailer of Baahubali: The Beginning also released in the month of June in 2015 causing a stir among the movie buffs across the country. Now, the trailer of Saaho is also slated for release in June, as per the social media buzz. Speculation is rife that Prabhas is keen to release the trailer in the month of June. While the makers are yet to confirm the news, fans are hoping that the Saaho team cash in on the Baahubali sentiment.

It will be interesting to watch whether the Baahubali sentiment will work wonders for Saaho at the box office.

Prabhas will be seen sharing space with Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, who is making her debut in Telugu with Saaho. Directed by Sujeeeth, Saaho will release on the occasion of Independence Day, i.e. August 15. Being produced by UV Creations, Saaho is being shot as a tri-lingual in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
