KCR’s Signature Forged for Land Mutation
Hyderabad:Three people have been arrested for alleged involvement in creating a fake document for mutation of land here with the forged signature of Telangana Chief Minister (CM) K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) , police said on Saturday.
They were arrested based on the complaint made by the Revenue Divisional Officer (RDO) of Rajendranagar on May 15. The RDO Complained that man had forged a letter on the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) party’s letter head with the forged signature of KCR.

The RDO in his complaint to the Raidurgam Police stated that a person named Qureshi created a forged letter in the name of the TRS party with the forged signature of the CM directing the officer to regularise 2.20 acres of land bearing survey number 44/P in Gachibowli village at Serlingampally.
The forgery came to light when the RDO got suspicious about the letter submitted by him at the Collectorate on May 14 and cross checked with the Chief Minister's Office and the TRS party office. It was found to be fake, forged and fabricated and a case was registered and the man and two others were arrested on Friday for their alleged involvement in the matter. The letter head was allegedly bought for Rs 45,000 from a TRS leader in Yakuthpura. Police are also examining the angle if the TRS leader had sold this Qureshi only or whether he had sold them to others also.
