Mahesh Beats Chiranjeevi As Maharshi Overtakes Khaidi No.150 Before Release

For all Mahesh fans out there, here's something interesting. Mahesh Babu has already started setting records with 'Maharshi' in Telugu even before the release of the film. Yes, what you read is right. Mahesh Babu has an immense fan following not only in Telugu states even other parts of the nation.

Latest we hear is that Mahesh Babu has a good amount of fan following in Odisha and the demand for 'Maharshi' in Odisha region is huge. Mahesh Babu has dethroned Megastar Chiranjeevi's 'Khaidi No.1' record with 'Maharshi' and created a Non-Baahubali record in Odisha region. According to the sources, SS Rajamouli's Baahubali rights in Odisha were sold for Rs 55 Lakhs which is the biggest record for a Telugu film.

Before 'Maharshi' Chiranjeevi's 'Sye Raa' did a business of Rs 35 Lakhs with 'Khaidi No.150' which was his comeback film. Now, 'Maharshi' rights have been sold for a whopping amount of Rs 45 Lakhs. In this context, Mahesh Babu fails to beat Prabhas' Baahubali but managed to surpass 'Khaidi No.150' with 'Maharshi'. Isn't it exciting news to Mahesh fans.

'Maharshi' is directed by Vamsi Paidipally and the music has been composed by Devi Sri Prasad which has become a rage amongst the music lovers. 'Maharshi' will hit the big screens on May 9 in worldwide theatres.
