Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu, Geetha Govindam Only Telugu Movies in Elite Club  

The first quarter of 2018 started on a dull note with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's 'Agnyaathavaasi' which was a big dud at the box office. Later, the audience was rescued by Anushka's 'Bhaagamathie' and Varun Tej's 'Tholi Prema' which did decent business at the ticket windows. If you may recall, the Telugu film industry bounced back with biggest back to back hits of - Rangasthalam and Bharat Ane Nenu. These movies reaped good profits with an exorbitant amount for the filmmakers. In 2018, a handful of films were released but among them, three of the movies such as-Rangasthalam, Bharat Ane Nenu and Geetha Govindam have performed well at the box office in 2018.

If trade sources are to be believed, Ram Charan's Rangasthalam, Mahesh Babu's Bharat Ane Nenu and Vijay Deverakonda's Geetha Govindam have entered the elite club of Rs 100 Cr. These are the three films which reportedly did business more than Rs 100 cr at the worldwide box office in 2018.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan, Mahesh Babu and Vijay Deverakonda are busy with their own projects. Currently, Mahesh Babu and Vijay Deverakonda are looking forward to Maharsi and Dear Comrade which are gearing up to release this summer respectively.
