NTR Mahanayakudu Surpasses Paramaveerachakra’s Lacklustre Record
Nandamuri Balakrishna’s latest outing 'NTR Mahanayakudu' has received a lukewarm response from all quarters. The second part of Balakrishna’s 'NTR Mahanayakudu' is heading to become the third flop at the box office. The other two films from this year were -'NTR Kathanayakudu' and 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama'. 'NTR Mahanayakudu' failed to meet the audience’s expectations. It has been learned that 'NTR Mahanayakudu' has not even crossed Rs 2 Cr on opening day at the box office. Whereas the second-day collections were even more disappointing for filmmakers. Trade pundits predict that it is difficult for 'NTR Mahanayakudu' to cross Rs 10 Cr by end of its theatrical run. It is barely surviving at the box office.
According to trusted sources, 'NTR Mahanayakudu' is heading to surpass Dasari Narayana's 'Paramaveerachakra' record at the box office. 'Paramaveerachakra' released way back in 2011 and had mined Rs 5 crore, while 'NTR Mahanayakudu' is expected to fetch Rs 3.50 Cr in its full run. This is the first ever low record created by Balakrishna among his films.
Directed by Krish, the movie also features Vidya Balan, Rana Daggubati and Kalyan Ram among others in lead roles.
