Tollywood and Bollywood actors such as Mahesh Babu, Hrithik Roshan, and Ranveer Singh have been trained for their different avatars by Fitness Trainer Musthafa Ahmed.

While he owns a Fitness Centre in Mumbai, Musthafa Ahmed recently visited Hyderabad to participate in an event. Speaking to Sakshi in this context, he shared some fitness mantras.

Physique:

Having a physique is not enough but feeling healthy and working as a healthy person contributes to fitness.

Fitness is a combination of running 5 km in 30 min, lifting weights and moving your body freely. Those who maintain proper diet habits need less training. One can be physically and mentally fit if food is consumed appropriately.

Three important references:

1. 7 to 8 hours sleep

2. Consume locally available food. Eat 60% of the food available in the near surroundings. Do not opt for Western food supplies as local food is more beneficial for the body.

3. Move your body, be it at home or work. Try using the staircases or go for a walk regularly in case the gym is not the option for fitness.

Do not purchase fat-free food products:

Many purchase a variety of fat-free food products but fat is not necessarily bad for the body. Cooking with ghee is also good.

Hyderabad Fitness:

Hyderabad is the city of Nawabs. Compared to the other cities, things are changing rapidly regarding people's opinion of fitness in Hyderabad. In terms of fitness, Hyderabad will soon reach the level of Delhi and Mumbai in the next 3-4 years. Awareness regarding fitness is growing in the city.

Suggestions:

- Fitness is possible even when you are seated in your workplace, there are several methods, easily accessible on the Internet.

- Will is more important than skill in order to achieve fitness. Instead of focusing on others' opinions, work for yourself.

- Be it any age, one must be aware of the food being consumed and make the necessary changes according to the lifestyle. Join a gym with a proper trainer for six months. After this, one can go about the workout routines on their own.

- In context to changes to the shape of the body, it will happen according to genetics and metabolism. However, changes can be noticed within 2-3 months with proper diet and exercise training.

- For kids, encouraging them towards sports will automatically bring their focus on fitness. Parents need to send their teenage kids, in particular, to participate in sports.

- Even pregnant women can exercise. 40 days post delivery, women can carry out small exercises at home.
