Mega Clash On Sankranthi: Varun Makes Way For Charan’s Vinaya Vidheya Rama
It is customary for our Telugu actors to release their films on big festivals be it Sankranthi, Diwali or Dasara. The formula is to woo more crowd to theatres given the holidays for the festive seasom. We often get to see a bulk of films open in theatres around festival seasons. Also, one can expect a clash between actors over release of their moves around the same time.
Less than two months left for the biggest Telugu Festival Sankranthi. Already Ram Charan's Vinaya Vidheya Rama directed by Boyapati Srinu and Balakrishna's NTR biopic, the first part of Kathyanakudu are gearing up to become festive releases. As of now, these two films have officially declared that they are all set to arrive in theatres on Pongal. Balakrishna wouldn't step out of the Pongal race, as he is pretty confident that is film will fare well at the box office.
Earlier, Varun Tej's F2 was in the Sankranthi race to compete with Ram Charan's Vinaya Vidheya Rama and Balakrishna's NTR biopic. Latest we hear is that Varun Tej has postponed his film to avoid a box office clash with Ram Charan. Dil Raju who is the producer of F2 is said to have agreed with Varun Tej's wise decision in a change of release date. Varun Tej's F2 is aiming to release in the same month of January but it will be released after one week. Now, Varun Tej is eyeing the Republic Day weekend and F2 will hit the big screens on January-25.
Vinaya Vidheya Rama helmed by Boyapati Srinu also stars Kiara Advani as female lead alongside Charan.
