Drunkard son knifes father, cuts mother’s throat

Hyderabad: A heart-rending incident has happened in the area of Navodaya Nagar in Hyderabad. A habitually drunk son had stabbed his father and also cut his mother’s throat, in which the father lost his life.

Laxman, who is a drunkard, had knifed his father Yellaiah, aged 60, cut his mother Laxmamma’s throat as well, who tried to thwart the cruel act of stabbing his father fatally.

Kushaiguda police had reached the spot after receiving  information from the locals and filed a case against the boozer. Further investigations are on. Injured Laxmamma was hospitalised while the body of Yellaih was sent to government hospital for post-mortem.
