Drug Scam Hits Rana, Actor’s Parcel Checked

Rana Daggubati - Sakshi Post

Hyderabad: Actor Rana Daggubati has fallen prey to the recent drug scams as the Excise and Enforcement officials on Wednesday checked a parcel delivered at Ramanaidu Studio. The officials grew suspicious as the package came from Dubai on the actor's name.

At the time of scrutiny, Rana's father Suresh Babu was present. The officials opened the parcel only to find an equipment. The producer said, "The equipment is meant to be used in chairs and cars which gives relief from back pain."

The officials are on high alert over the ongoing drugs scam which entangled several Tollywood stars. Recently Rana spoke about it and said that it worries him more after coming to know that school children have been involved in this racket too. "Honestly, the whole thing has been blown out of proportion. If a filmmaker or an actor takes drugs, it really doesn't bother me. They are adults and it's their lives and they can do whatever they want. I don't give a damn if you take drugs," he said.
