Distributors Wary of Bharat Ane Nenu Post Agnyaathavaasi Debacle

Power star Pawan Kalyan's Agnyaathavaasi has become the first box office disaster of 2018. Although the film is earning good revenue at the US box office, the distributors have incurred heavy losses as per reports doing the rounds in filmnagar circles.

If sources are to be believed, Agnyaathavaasi distributors bought the rights of the film going by the extraordinary records the Trivikram-Pawan combo created at the box office with Atharintiki Daredhi. Latest we hear is that the bad publicity and after effects of Agnyaathavaasi could spill over to Mahesh Babu's much awaited Bharat Ane Nenu.

It is worth mentioning here that the Dookudu actor's last film Spyder bombed at the box office. Even Mahesh is reeling under the pressure to deliver a super hit film. Bharath Ane Nenu is being directed by Koratala Siva. Mahesh-Koratala Siva is another favourite combination for Tollywood audiences.The duo delivered a super hit film Srimanthudu in the year 2018. Audience have pinned huge expectations on Bharath Ane Nenu.

However, that isn't reason enough to cheer. Distributors are in a dilemma after the way Agnyaathavaasi turned out post release. Grapevine suggests that the distributors want to tread cautiously and don't want to repeat the same mistake they did with Agnyaathavaasi. The result? Bharath Ane Nenu rights may not fetch the expected price!

Looks like Pawan has createda big problem for the makers of the Mahesh Babu film. But it remains to be seen what strategies the makers will adopt to sell the movie
