Telangana Minister for Information Technology K.Taraka Rama Rao on Thursday responded on the issue of MSO's refusal to air TV9 and ABN Andhra Jyothy channels.

“Telangana government has nothing to do with these incidents. It is the decision of the cable operators. Both the TV channels have to thrash out the issues with the MSOs by sitting across the table,” said the minister.

The MSOs in Telangana have stopped airing both the channels following their lampooning of Telangana MLAs.

He inaugurated India Gadget Expo in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that they would develop the city of Hyderabad into a technology hub.

He said that they would also work to develop Hyderabad into a hardware hub.
