Tahsildar Vijaya Reddy’s Attender Chandraiah Succumbs To Injuries
HYDERABAD: Attender Chandraiah, who was injured while trying to save Abdullapurmet Tahsildar K Vijaya Reddy , succumbed to burn injuries in the early hours of Monday.
Chandraiah who was battling for his life for the past 28 days, died while undergoing treatment in a DRDO Hospita here. With his death the toll in the MRO incident has gone up to four.
Vanasthalipuram ACP Jayaram said that Chandraiah’s body was sent for post mortem to Osmania General Hospital.
It may be recollected that a man named K. Suresh entered the Tahsil office and poured petrol on the MRO Vijaya Reddy. She died within a span of a few minutes at the MRO office itself . Her driver Gurunatham and attender Chandraiah sustained critical burns while trying to rescue her. Driver Gurnatham died a day later and the accused Suresh died three days later.

The Tahsildar office in Abdullapurmet reopened on November 28th,2019 after the officials performed Puja and resumed their duties, 24 days after the death of the previous tahsildar K Vijaya Reddy.
K Venkat Reddy who took charge as the new tahsildar on November 23, has a lot to deal with on hand right now. The gruesome murder of his predecessor Vijaya Reddy has led to the opening of dubious land deals in the areas surrounding the Abdullapurmet tahsil office in Ranga Reddy district, located close to the city of Hyderabad.
