Guntur: Class 3 Student Raped By School Headmaster

Guntur: A 7-year-old minor girl, studying in class 3 was allegedly sexually assaulted by a government primary school headmaster in Rayapudi village under Thullur mandal of Guntur district. The incident became known on Tuesday, after the victim’s parents protested outside the school and demanded police action.

According to the police the accused Headmaster Dadigi Subba Rao (45) who is on the run had lured the girl by offering chocolates and raped her repeatedly over the past few months.

The sexual assault came to light when the girl complained of severe stomach pain. After she was taken to the government hospital for examination, the doctors confirmed it was a case a sexual assault.

The family registered a complaint against the accused under relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012.

Thullur circle inspector T Vijaya Krishna told news sources that he had allegedly raped and sexually harassed the girl many times over the past few months and the girl had no idea of what was happening to her. Only after she complained of pain in the stomach and the doctors treating her discovered that she was being sexually assaulted that the incident came to light.
