Policeman Commits Suicide in Warangal Rural

Vijayawada: A police constable aspirant on Friday committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree on the outskirts of the Wardhannapet town in Warangal Rural district.
The deceased Sammeta Praveen (27), is a resident of Illanda village of the same mandal.
According to a leading daily, he was depressed ever since the release of the police constable exam results as he scored low marks. He left his home on May 26 without saying anything to his family.
His elder brother is also working as the police constable.
Warhannapet police have registered a case and shifted the body to Wardhannapet Community Health Centre (CHC) for post-mortem.
Further probe is underway.
