Sex Racket Busted In A Delhi Mall Spa
New Delhi: A sting operation by a journalist busted a sex racket that was operating out of a spa inside a mall in North Delhi's Rohini area.
The journalist submitted the evidence to the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal who said that she has already submitted a notice to the police for making no arrests and also one to the Municipal Corporation of Delhi, to ensure if they have received any other complaints about the spa.
DCW official said that on May 18, they received a call from the journalist who said that he had gathered evidence on the sex racket that was going on in the spa. He had reportedly posed as a customer and recorded the dealings. The journalist said that the girls were offered at different rates.
A team of DCW reached the spa and called the police. The team found 11 girls in the spa doing "some objectionable things".
The girls were brought to Prashant Vihar police station and their statements were recorded. An FIR has been registered.
However, DCW has asked police officials why no arrests have been made yet.
