Hyderabad Girl Driven To Suicide By Stalker

Hyderabad: A minor girl committed suicide on Thursday night in the city. The incident took place in Ibrahimpatnam. As per the details, the victim, identified as Rukmini was pursuing her degree first-year and was being constantly harassed by a boy named Pavan.

It is learned that Pavan had been stalking her to accept his love proposal. The 17-year-old girl even complained regarding Pavan to her parents, who warned him and asked him to stay away from their daughter.

Despite their warnings, the boy continued to harass her. Unable to deal with the harassment, the girl hanged herself to the ceiling fan in her room.

Rukmini's parents filed a complaint with the police, who registered a case and sent the body for an autopsy. Meanwhile, after coming to know of Rukmini's demise, Pavan absconded and also switched off his phone.

The police have launched a search operation to nab him.
