Krishnarajapuram: A youth raped a girl under the Ashok Nagar police station limits on Thursday. The accused Hayaan Dymeri is a native of Assam, working in a hotel at Richmond road, Bengaluru. The victim who is pursuing hotel management course hails from kerala. Six months ago, she came to Bengaluru and joined as an intern in the same hotel where Dymeri works. Since they work in the same company, they got close emotionally. Meanwhile, the accused gave a party to his friends in his room at Austin town.

The girl was also invited for the event. She trusted him and went to the party. Since it was past midnight, he asked her to stay for the night saying she could go in the morning. Trusting him, she agreed to stay for the night. After some time, Dymeri went to the girl's room and gave her an alcoholic drink forcibly. Later, he raped her and threatened that he would kill her if the matter was leaked. The victim stayed mute for a few days and with the help of her friends, she lodged a complaint with Ashok Nagar police who filed a case and arrested the accused.

Meanwhile, in a similar incident, A class 11 girl was gang raped by four engineering students who later dumped her near Kanpur's Babupurwa police station. The victim's father was a police Inspector who lodged a complaint against one of the accused Anurag Yadav and his friends Jackie, Shubham and Abhishek. They were identified as B Tech students from different colleges.

SP Sanjiv said that all the four accused were taken to the custody and are being interrogated. The girl knew one of the accused who coaxed her. On Tuesday evening, he took her to a flat and raped along with his friends.
