Police Arrest Two In Hyderabad For Making Synthetic Drugs
Hyderabad: Two people in Hyderabad were arrested by the Hyderabad special operation team for allegedly manufacturing synthetic drugs like Methamphetamine and Amphetamine (NDPS). They were caught on Saturday at LB Nagar.
During the raid, the police seized 32 gm Amphetamine and other drugs worth 1.3 lakh rupees. The accused were identified as A Ramesh (38) and R Rambabu (46) who are residents of Meerpet.
Earlier Ramesh had worked in a private lab as a quality controller and was said to be supplying raw materials like ephedrine hydrochloride which is used to prepare amphetamine and methamphetamine.
According to the Rachakonda and LB Nagar special team operations, two people were arrested for manufacturing synthetic drugs by using ephedrine hydrochloride, acetone and Hydrochloride acid. They seized 32 gm of Amphetamine at Alekhya towers which is a manufacturing unit cum residence.
LB Nagar deputy commissioner, Sunpreet Singh said "the accused Ramesh confessed to his crime that he was manufacturing synthetic drugs and packing them in covers."
