Marital Disputes Push Vizag Woman To Suicide

Visakhapatnam: A 25-year-old housewife , S Neelima committed suicide by hanging herself at her parents' home in Chinamushidivada in Visakhapatnam. Neelima was married to Charan Tej of Kancherlapalem around a year and half ago.The couple were having disputes for quite some time and six months ago Neelima had gone to her maternal home for her delivery and gave birth to a baby boy. Charan Tej used to visit her and the baby regularly.

On Monday morning when he had come for his usual visit she asked him if they could live separately for which he didn't agree. A heated argument ensued between them after which Charan Tej left the place. Deeply hurt with her husband's refusal to stay separately she went into the bedroom and hung herself. Her mother Adilakshmi and the neighbours tried to save her but she had already died. A case had been filed by SI Rama Rao under Ci Surayanarana's orders and investigation is on.
