Geesukonda: A TRS leader was attacked by a man suspecting an extramarital relationship. The incident happened on Sunday at Geesukonda, Warangal district. According to the victim and the police, a lady attender in a Geesukonda government organization was accompanying Gone Mallaiah (Malla Reddy) whom she succeeded in making an agent of gas safety device.

On Saturday, on office work, Sadanandam, Balireddy and the woman went to Lohita, Sangem mandal along with Malla Reddy in a car. When the car turned into the under-bridge of Warangal city, a restaurant owner in Ookal crossroads stopped the car with his bike. He started fighting with Malla Reddy for taking the lady along with them.

The same night, the woman took sleeping pills and the relatives informed Malla Reddy who admitted her at the hospital in his car. When she recovered, he dropped her home in the early hours of Sunday. Boyaraju learned of the matter and threatened to kill Malla Reddy.

He threatened Malla Reddy saying he and the lady were in a live-in relationship. Boyaraju showed him photos of the two of them and warned Malla Reddy to stay away from the lady. Malla Reddy said that the matter should be discussed in front of the lady's husband Raj Kumar and he went to Geesukonda to meet him. Meanwhile, while Malla Reddy and the woman's husband were conversing, Boyaraju suddenly attacked Malla Reddy on his neck with a sickle. Malla Reddy suffered a minor injury. Raj Kumar managed to escape and based on the complaint given by Malla Reddy, the Geesukonda police filed a case and launched an investigation.
