Road Accidents Across Telugu Districts 

Jadcharla: A man was killed in a road accident in the early hours of Friday at Rajpur national highway. The deceased was identified as Jogi Krishna (32). According to the police, SI Narsaiah, Krishna, a lorry cleaner was on his way to reach Hyderabad from Rajampet, Kadapa with a load of betel leaves.

On the way, the lorry tyre developed a flat, and while he was replacing the tire, another lorry which coming from behind hit him. A severely injured Krishna died on the spot. As a result of the accident, the highway was jammed and the poilce soon reached the spot and cleared the traffic. Later the body was shifted to Jadcharla government hospital for autopsy. The police filed a case and started probing the incident.

Kothapeta: A newly married man met with an accident while he was traveling to his in-laws village to attend a festival. The accident happened here on Friday at Rangapur national highway. According to the police, Sarada and Satish (25) got married four months ago. Sarada went to her house for the festival and on Friday, Satish was heading to Bunadipur on his two-wheeler. Meanwhile, a speeding bus hit the bike and Satish died on the spot. The police learned of the matter and shifted the body to Vanaparthi area hospital for postmortem. A case was filed and investigation is on.

Kodangal: Pusala Kali (38) who hails from Sainagar, Kosgi was returning home after finishing his business on Thursday evening. On the way, a lorry hit coming from the opposite side, rammed into his bike. A severely injured Kali was shifted to Hyderabad. The same night, he died while undergoing treatment. Kali's brother Paparayudu filed a complaint and the police have taken up investigation. The victim is survived by his wife, a daughter and son.

Vanaparthi: One person was killed and two suffered from injuries in a road accident at Wanaparthi. The incident happened here on Friday night. According to the victim's family members, Ravi (45) from Wanaparthi went to Pebberu and was returning to the hometown. Abdulla and Rajulu were traveling to Tirumalagutta from Wanaparthi in two different vehicles. The vehicles met with an accident, and Ravi was badly injured while Abdulla and Raju suffered minor injuries. Ravi was shifted to Wanaparthi area hospital where he died while undergoing treatment. He is survived by his wife Suvarna and two children.

Jadcharla: A man was severely injured in a bus accident on the outskirts of Udityala. According to the locals, an RTC bus from Shadnagar depot was going to Balanagar from Nawabpet. On Thursday at 7 PM, Peddgolla Lingam was traveling to Veerannapalli on his bike. Lingam was hit by the bus and was severely injured. He was shifted to a private hospital in Hyderabad where his condition is said to be critical.

Makthal: A youth was seriously injured in a car accident. According to local residents, Mahesh from Sakthinagar, Karnataka was traveling to Hindupur in a car on Friday. The Hindupur road was covered with sand during a construction of a small bridge. The car met with an accident and he was injured. Mahesh was shifted to Raichur hospital. Police filed a case and started probing the matter.
