Construction Worker Dies After Falling From 4th Floor
Hyderabad: A daily wage labourer died after falling from the fourth floor at a construction site. The incident happened here under the Bachupally police station limits on Saturday evening.
The victim has been identified as Ganapathi (48), a resident of Jagadgirigutta. The incident occurred when he was working for slab shifting. According to the police, Ganapathi slipped while working and fell down from the fourth floor of the under construction building.
A case was filed against the builder on Sunday by the police for not providing safety measures at the construction site. The body has been shifted to Gandhi Hospital for the post-mortem.
Daily Wage Worker Killed In Train Mishap
Hyderabad: A daily wage worker died here after he was hit by a unknown train on the early hours of Sunday under the limits of Kachiguda police station limits.
According to the police, the victim has been identified as Mahinder (35), who works as a labourer from Sai Krishna Colony in Badvel. It is learnt that the train hit him while he was trying to cross the railway tracks of Umdanagar and Badvel around 3 am. His body was sent to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy. The police are trying to ascertain if it was a accident or a suicide.
