Court orders filing of case against TV9 Ravi Prakash
There is more trouble for TV9 CEO Raviprakash as a Cyberabad Second Metropolitan Magistrate has directed the police to file a case against him for allegedly insulting the Telangana representatives in the programmes telecast by his channel.
Responding to the petition filed by a local advocate, Sunkari Janardhan, the Cyberabad court directed the LB Nagar police to book a case under sections 504, 506 of IPC and under Sections 4A and 6 of Cable Network Act. In the petition, the advocate mentioned that a programme titled 'Bullet News' telecast at 8.30 p.m on June 12 has insulted Telangana political leaders.
It is worth mentioning here that TV 9 and ABN Andhra Jyothi are off the air following a decision taken by the MSOs in Telangana.
