Court grants conditional bail to Sri Lakshmi

Senior IAS officer and former Secretary Industries (including mining), Sri Lakshmi arrested in connection with the OMC illegal mining case was granted conditional bail by the Special CBI court on Saturday.

The court, however, ordered Sri Lakshmi not to leave Hyderabad without taking its permission. The bail was granted on a personal bond of Rs 2 lakh with two sureties of the like amount.

It may be recalled that Sri Lakshmi had surrendered before the CBI special court on March 21 as the interim bail granted to her on medical grounds ended.
