Cop's public canning of accused leads her to punishment

On Saturday, November 27, police had picked up Sekhar, accused for allegedly murdering his father-in-law Mallaiah, 65, along with his accomplices Somu, Peddanna alias Peddi and Hussain.
The police took all the four suspects to the place of crime on Sunday. According to TV reports, the four accused were asked to kneel their hands folded and the police officers, including DSP Supraja, inspector Sreenivasulu, and sub-inspector Ismail, hit them repeatedly with sticks. A policeman was also seen slapping the four.
The footage showed the police personnel demnding that Shekar's wife and Malliah's daughter to slap the four.
