Congress candidate attempts suicide

Congress candidate from Wardhanapet Assembly constituency in Warangal district tried to end life on Tuesday. He was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital and is stated to be out of danger.

According to sources, Sridhar was perturbed by his poor financial position. He was also disheartened as he was trailing behind the TRS candidate in the election campaign.

Another source says that Sridhar was worried that he may have to face defeat in the hands of the TRS candidate.
