College clashes: Student injured in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident,  a first-year student of an engineering college here suffered minor injuries on Tuesday when his classmate attacked him with a knife, police said.

M Rabbani attacked Junaid, his classmate, outside the college following a quarrel over some remarks on a social networking site, inspector R Sanjay Kumar of Habbebnagar police station said. A case of attempt to murder had been registered while search was on for Rabbani, the police officer added.
It was the second such incident in Hyderabad. In a similar incident a junior student was killed by a senior student in a private degree college in Sultan Bazar.
