CM summoned to Delhi for core committee meet on 'T'
As the last date for the Centre to announce its final decision on the statehood issue nears, Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy has been summoned to Delhi.
He will be leaving to Delhi this evening. Several Seemandhra Congress leaders and Telangana Congress leaders are in Delhi to lobby for their demands to be met. While Pro-Telangana activists are pressing for granting of separate statehood to the Telangana region, Seemandhra leaders are against the bifurcation of the state.
According to reports, the High Command asked the CM to be available for the next two days in the country's capital.
Kiran Kumar Reddy is likely to participate in the Congress Core committee meeting on Friday.
