Ministers must call it quits: Shankar Rao

Former minister P. Shankar Rao on Tuesday is back in the news with his fresh comments — demanding that all ministers accused by the Supreme Court quit from their respective posts.

While talking to the press in Hyderabad, he said, the governmnt that sanctioned legal assistance to the R&B minister Dharmana Prasada Rao, home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy, agriculture minister Kanna Lakshmi Narayana and Industries Minister J. Geetha Reddy, has to cancel the permit and withdraw support.

He further added that the chief minister is trying to protect the accused. And such actions of the chief minister is the cause for the party's downfall, he fumed.
Angered Shankar rao also said "The Chief Minister has to resign from his post and however.there will be no candidates to participate in the 2014 elections on behalf of the Congress," he said.
