CM Chandrababu Gives Short Shrift To KE Krishna Murthy, Takes Away His Powers To Transfer Dy Collectors

Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister KE Krishna Murthy is a lonely man these days. He is being given short shrift by the TDP boss and Chief Minister KE Krishna Murthy. Chandrababu is divesting him of his powers one by one.

According to GO No 28 issued recently, Chandrababu will directly administer deputy collectors and special deputy collectors. Their appointments and transfers, which till now are managed by the revenue department headed by KE, have been transferred to the General Administration Department.

Earlier too, some of the transfers effected by KE were rescinded by Chandrababu. Even in the capital area issue, the chief minister entrusted the job to Municipal Affairs Minister Narayana. Even in land allocations, KE has been sidelined. Now, the latest GO takes away his powers to transfer.

KE's followers are seething with rage and are deeply unhappy that a BC minister is being treated this way. However, as of now, KE is reported to be in a ‘grin and bear’ mode.
