City SI Transferred For Affair With Woman Complainant 

Hyderabad: A sub-inspector of Jawahar Nagar police station was transferred following an impartial inquiry pertaining to a domestic violence case between a couple.

Going into details, SI Narsimhulu had dealt with a domestic violence case when a woman Jyotsna lodged a complaint with the police in November last year alleging that her husband Satish had been harassing her.

The sub-inspector took up the case and counselled the couple while settling the differences between them. Later, the SI got close to Jyotsna. She would often visit the SI's residence after that. Narsimhulu also took her for shopping and paid bills.

On Wednesday, Jyotsna's husband lodged a complaint with Malkajgiri DCP Umamaheswara Sarma alleging that Jawaharnagar sub-inspector had been moving closely with his wife Jyotsna.

An inquiry has been ordered into the matter and the sub-inspector has been transferred to Armed Reserve for his impartial inquiry into the domestic violence case between the couple.
