City advocate set ablaze in car
Hyderabad: A city-based advocate was burnt along with the car that he was seated in by unknown persons near Mallanna temple at Keesara in the late hours of Saturday.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Uday Kumar. His wife, Jagadishwari, identified the car as belonging to Uday. But the clothes and slippers on the dead body do not belong to Uday, she said. According to her, the advocate left home early on Saturday morning but was later found to have switched off his cell phone.
Uday’s father said property dispute could be the reason behind the gruesome act.
Meanwhile, CLUES team from the city police are examining the crime scene and surrounding area for possible leads.
