Chirec School Students Develop Drone Capable Of Carrying Human

Hyderabad: As of now we have come across drones that fly into air to capture pictures and shoot videos but a drone that carries a man with it was developed by the students of Chirec International School in Kondapur here.

Demonstrating the working of the drone on Wednesday the students said that the it is capable of lifting a human of 70kg weight. The students Vinay Kanumuri, Vineet Alaparthi, Amog Iska and Aaditya Maddukuri, who are the members of Physics and Engineering Club in the school have developed the drone.

"The drone was called Octocopter as it consists of eight rotors that play a vital role in lifting the drone," a student said. The students also said that the drone has the potential to reduce flying costs and flight time.

The school alumnus Sahevaan Taneja and Surya Taneja are also involved in the developing the machine.
