Chandrababu has neither courage nor shame... - Sakshi Post

Kadapa: YSRCP president Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday said that it is not a big deal to purchase MLAs with money and added that winning peoples’ hearts is a prelude to winning elections; once you do that people will vote for anyone that represents the party. He was addressing the media while touring the YSR district on Thursday.

Y.S Jagan stated that the strength to really shake the foundations of the party was in the hands of the people alone. In spite of all the temptations and money that was spent, Chandrababu was only able to take along only five people from their party.

Calling him a person without courage and shame, Y.S Jagan expressed great displeasure at Chandrababu Naidu’s ploys of trying to purchase MLAs from YSRCP and challenged him to make the five people who crossed over to the TDP, resign from their positions so that they could seek the ballot once more. The result of the poll could be taken as a referendum on the government, he said.

Y.S Jagan said that Chandrababu has stopped touring the villages as the farmers would question him about the promised loan waivers and added that even the interests on the loans were not waived off. Even the DWACRA women are calling Chandrababu a cheat he said. Criticising Chandrababu of conveniently forgetting the poll promises on coming to power, Y.S Jagan also spoke out on the present problems of unemployment, high electricity bills and skyrocketing prices of essential commodities in the state.

Y.S Jagan revealed that all the MLAs in his party except himself were receiving calls every day with enticements to join the TDP. He questioned how Chandrababu was able to source these crores of rupees that he was using to tempt the MLAs. He had a word of appreciation for all his party MLAs who had not yielded to these offers.

He accused the TDP of resorting to false propaganda and media abuse that was creating untold difficulties for the YSRCP MLAs as they had to counter these allegations in their own constituencies.
