Chandrababu for containing black money
TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday observed that black money should be controlled to ensure nation’s growth and demanded measures to do it.
He told media persons at his residence, Naidu maintained that flow of black money could be prevented with transactions through banks. He also demanded that the government should ban Rs 1000 and Rs 500 denominations of currency notes as there were 33 per cent of Rs 1000 notes out of the total currency in the country. An estimated Rs 70 lakh crore black money was available in the country, he said and added that his party would fight till achieving corruption-free country.
