Babu behind Kiran Govt’s survival: Vijayamma

YSR Congress honorary president Y S Vijayamma reiterated that TDP leader Chandrababu Naidu was behind the survival of Kiran Kumar Reddy government.

Addressing reporters at Pulivendula in YSR Kadapa district, Vijayamma said Kiran Reddy government which was ready to fall as it was in the minority was rescued by Naidu issuing a whip. She said Naidu was also protecting UPA government at the centre without falling.

Vijayamma said the nexus between the Congress and the TDP started with MLC elections and the both had conspired and put Jagan in jail. In a bid to save himself from corruption charges, Naidu targeted Jagan. Now he was playing drama for removal of tainted ministers. She blamed Naidu for hatching conspiracy against Jagan preventing him from coming out of jail. She asked: Had Jagan ever called any official over the phone for any favour or work?  Kiran Reddy failed to establish whether the 26 GOs were fair or unfair. She questioned why investigation had not been done on the scams like fake stamps, Yeleru and others that were taken place during Naidu’s tenure. She recalled that Naidu had allocated more land to IMG than it asked.

Vijayamma expressed deep concern over the plight of the people with the adamant attitude of the government. Farmers were totally ignored and people were overburdened with increasing prices and heavy taxes. People were charged to the tune of RS 4,000 crore in the form of electricity charges, she said.
