Late Tollywood music director Chakri’s mother G Vidyavathi lodged a complaint against Chakri's wife Sravani at the Jubilee Hills police station on Sunday evening. She raised doubts over Chakri's death and expressed suspicion on Sravani.

In her complaint to the police, Vidyavathi suspected foul play in Chakri's death. She also sought action against Sravani.

Earlier, Chakri's wife Sravani approached the State Human Rights Commission and tried to file a harassment case against her in-laws.But the SHRC didnt take the complaint.
On Saturday, she lodged a complaint with Jubliee Hills police against seven of her family members.

She alleged that Chakri family members are harassing her. She claims her inlaws moved into her house ever since Chakri's death. As per Sravani's claims, Chakri's family took away his death certificate on the second day after Chakri died but have not handed it over to her. Based on the complaint, Police filed cases under sections 498 and 506 on Chakri's mother Vidyavathi, Chakri's brother Mahith Narayana, other family members - Vanidevi, Lakshman Rao, Krishna Priya and Nageshwar Rao
