'Centre was under pressure to call all-party meet'

At first, the political leaders from various parties in the state demanded that the Congress call for an all-party meet to seek opinion on the Telangana issue. But now, they have other demands too.

Minister Sridhar Babu has said that the Centre only agreed to call for an all-party meet owing to pressure from the Telangana Congress MPs.
Speaking to people at Karimnagar, he demanded that the Congress call just one member from each party to get opinion on the issue.
Sridhar Babu also expressed hope that there will be a historic decision following the all-party meet.
