Bus mows down B Tech boy in Vijayawada
An engineering student and four others were critically injured after an RTC bus rammed into them on the outskirts of Vijayawada on Friday.
The bus was headed from Machilipatnam to Vijayawada. The incident occurred at Ganguru of Penamaluru mandal when the driver lost over the bus and hit the pedestrians.
The driver claimed that he lost the control on the wheels as the bus steering failed.
Kommukuri Rufus Steven, 20, hails from Ganguru, has been studying B.Tech second year in a private engineering college in Vijayawada.
The RTC bus hit the student who was riding motorcycle. He died on the spot. After being notified about the incident, police reached spot, registered a case and probing it.
