Muzaffarnagar: In a shocking incident, a woman was allegedly raped by her father and brother for eloping with her boyfriend.
The incident occurred at Dhaneda village in Muzaffarnagar town, Uttar Pradesh. The police also said that the girl was also sexually assaulted by two uncles in her family. All the accused have been arrested.
According to station house officer (SHO) Kushal Pal Singh, the police registered a case against all the accused on the directive of the Allahabad High Court.
In her complaint, the victim alleged that her family members also threatened to kill her after raping her. The family members confined to a room after she brought her boyfriend a few months ago, the police said. She was produced before a magistrate and her statement was recorded.
