To Please Paramour, Woman Makes 4-Year-Old Daughter Sit On Red Hot Frying Pan

Hyderabad: In a gruesome incident, a woman made her four-year-old baby sit on a red hot frying pan as she felt the child was an obstacle to her relationship with her paramour.

The incident took place in SR Nagar here in the city on Sunday.

According to the police, Lalitha, a native of Srikakulam district, was having an extra-marital affair with one Prakash who hails from the same district. Lalitha left her husband but kept her four-year-old daughter with her. Both came to Hyderabad nine months ago. Since then, Lalitha had been working as a cook at a house in Srinivas Nagar of SR Nagar and Prakash joined as a security guard at a shopping mall. Prakash had been insisting that Lalitha get rid of her daughter Roopa.

Lalitha made her four-year-old daughter sit on a frying pan on Sunday morning. Local residents came to the rescue of the girl after hearing her loud cries. They informed the police and shifted the girl to a hospital. A case has been registered against both Lalitha and Prakash. They have since been arrested.
