Break for Naidu padayatra till Feb 21

TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu will get a two-day break for his Vastunna Meekosam padayatra in the wake of the MLC elections in Guntur district.

According to the Election Commission code, padayatras should not be continued during the polls. Also, any non-resident cannot stay in the district during elections. However, Naidu got an exception. He will be allowed to stay at Vemuru in Guntur district.

The EC made it clear to Naidu that he cannot continue with his padayatra, campaign or stay in the vicinity of the polling center.

Following the EC notice, Naidu would get rest from Tuesday evening to till 21.
