Brahmin Corporation Chairman IYR Krishna Rao Sacked For Sharing Posts Against Chandrababu Govt

Vijayawada: Chandrababu Naidu government on Tuesday removed the Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Corporation Chairman, ex-Chief Secretary Ippagunta Yashodhara Ramakrishna Rao (IYR Krishna Rao) from the position after he shared some Facebook posts that exposed the prevalent casteism in TDP and inefficiency of the government.

A thorough gentleman and non-controversial throughout his career, Krishna Rao was appointed as the Chairman of Brahmin Welfare Corporation after his retirement as the Chief Secretary to the government of Andhra Pradesh.

However, Krishna Rao had shared a few messages posted by others criticizing TDP, BJP and the government on his profile some time back. The TDP supporters have been lambasting Krishna Rao after he shared the posts and the party men started demanding his removal from the position.

The government issued the orders removing Krishna Rao. It may be recalled that social media activist Inturi Ravikiran was arrested by the police for his postings on Political Punch page on Facebook.
