Forbes Highest Paid Celebrities List 2019 Features Just One Indian Actor

Hyderabad: Only one Indian actor featured in the Forbes Highest Paid Celebrities List 2019 who is none other than 'Khiladi' Akshay Kumar. The list this year is topped by American singer Taylor Swift.

Meanwhile, the Khans, namely Salman and Shahrukh Khan failed to make it to the list.

Akshay Kumar has secured the 33rd spot with earnings of Rs 444 crore (USD 65 million). Forbes say that he gets at least $5 million and up to $10 million per film. He also mints millions from endorsement deals on over 20 brands.

The 'Padman' actor is even ahead of Hollywood superstars like Rihanna, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Katy Perry, Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga.

Among the highest paid, Taylor Swift topped the chart for the second time in a row, followed by Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian's husband Kanye West.

In 2018, Akshay was ranked 76th on the Forbes list with earnings of Rs 270 crore. Meanwhile, Salman Khan was ranked 82nd with earnings of USD 37.7 million. Shahrukh Khan was dropped out of the list in 2018.

On the film front, Akshay is gearing up for the release of Mission Mangal.
