BJP Set To Severe Links With TDP In Telangana?

The BJP appears to have finally decided to go it alone in the next elections in Telangana. In the ongoing party national executive meeting in Delhi, the party high command announced that the saffron party will fight the elections in Telangana without any alliance.

State BJP leaders have submitted a detailed report to the party President Amit Shah at the meeting. The report explained that the TDP's vote bank has gone down to 3 per cent as many senior leaders had already left the party. Under these circumstances, the BJP leaders informed the party high command that the safforn party can win more of seats without alliance with the TDP.

TDP Telangana leaders have been making statements against theBJP in the recent times. Some leaders have also said that theTDP was willing to join hands with the Congress . Some leaders said the BJP is keen to enter into an electoral partnership with ruling TRS in the next elections. Amid growing confusion on the TDP's political stand, the BJP has decided to keep away from the TDP in Telangana. However, the BJP will sail along with the TDP in Andhra Pradesh in the next elections.
