BJP president raises Telangana issue in LS

BJP National president Rajnath Singh on Wednesday brought up the Telangana issue while replying to the President’s speech in the Lok Sabha.

Rajnath Singh criticized the Congress party for ignoring the issue despite serious agitations for the separate statehood. 

All the promises made in favour of Telangana were violated by the Congress party, he said, adding that the BJP would extend all support if any decision taken in support of Telangana State. The NDA Govt would announce separate state for Telangana soon after it came to power, if the Congress party failed to do it, he asserted.
